Please don't take offense to my statement - I didn't mean we couldn't discuss it, I just think it is the media that always blows these things up out of proportion- especially because it looks unfavorable on President Bush; when the media should be educating and informing their audiences about the more important story - Isreal and the mid-east crisis among many, many other stories.

Please continue to post these articles, we all need to stay informed.

This is very true. All of it.

But I do think that sometimes people tend to get heated in their arguments and instead of debating the issue, the debate turns into a more heated discussion of how can you believe like you do.

As much as I believe in my convictions, I tend to shy away from bringing them up on here because I have seen other people close to attacked for believeing the ay they do.

For the most part the wonderful women on this board are very respectful. But like in the real world, when politics is involved the claws tend to come out. JMHO.

Such is the nature of the beast. Anytime personal convictions are out for discussion, the nature of the human animal is to defense. Emotion takes over where logic should be in the lead. And thus, most of the problems that spur the very discussion take root.
