I thought it was going to be something bad. He just said s***. Big whoop. The Clintons used to scream obscenities at people all the time. After all, these people are human. Let whoever has never said s*** cast the first stone.

Do you think it was an "ACCIDENT" He was the only one caught on tape? Sounds fishy to me. JMO

I didn't think it was a big deal. I think it is embarrassing that the leader of our country is at a very important luncheon with world leaders yet is talking with food in his mouth and using foul language. But I am not a Bush supporter so that is probably why I find it funny.

I say #### all the time but I don't help run our country. I didn't mean to piss anybody off I just thought it was funny. I am obviously in Pro-Bush land on this site. Sorry to offend.

I do NOT think it was an accident, however, I don't believe that most people are paying attention to what "S" word should be causing the gasps. I think the fact that he mentioned Syria in the content of his sentence is what this story is really about. Everyone can pretend it was an accident that it was overheard, but I think the big man's staff knows exactly what they are doing. JMO

I absolutely can't stand Bush (no secret there) but I didn't find it to be a big deal. I doubt every minute of these meetings are as formal as we might think.

Yep, I'm not in love with GW either, I don't think it's a big deal though anyway. You should hear what I say when I watch the news!!! I hope these meetings aren't as formal as they appear, we need these people rolling up their sleeves and getting to work.

I'm definately not a Bush Supporter, very vocal about it - in fact. Although it's dangerous territory to tread into those waters on this board (believe me...)

I agree that is completely unprofessional, not to mention disgusting, that this is how he behaves at a luncheon with other world leaders. I can't say I'm all too surprised - The same man who said, "Gynocologists cannot spread their love for woman...." in relation to the crisis in health care yet has done nothing about it.

Personally I think it's really easy to sit there, with his mouth full of food and swear about how nothing is being done about Hezbollah. However, the only action he knows how to take is bombing, ignoring, and spending..

Agreed. We can focus on the fact that he said the "s" word until we turn blue in the face but it doesn't change the fact that he's "inadvertantly" discussing this situation in this manner. I can't imagine it being an accident in front of all these world leaders.

If it was that simple, why didn't we just do that with Al Qeada?

"Hello, Mr. Bin Laden - Could you please stop training your forces to practice Jihad and kill our innocent Americans? We'd really appreciate it." That's the real irony.
