Whoever upthread said Obama's negative ads are 'everywhere" - seriously - I haven't seen one. I know he has some, but he also has ads that are not negative and speak just to the issues. All of McCains ads are negative. And all McCain can do is spread rumor, fear, and innuendo to further his campaign instead of talking about what he will do for the country.
Annie's Mom- I can't imagine anyone thinking that Obama's speaking style reminds them of Bush. Obama is one of the most eloquent speakers I've heard in years, while Bush's public speaking ability is non-existent. Obama does pause, but they strike me as thoughtful pauses. While Bush pauses to try to figure out what he's saying, IMO.
As far as campaign finance reform, that has not been a big issue to me either way. So long as the funds are raised legally, I'm pretty much fine. As far as going back on his word to McCain -- McCain said he would not run a negative campaign and that he would not bring up Obama's former pastor, and he's gone back on that & has run one of the ugliest campaigns in history. So, tit for tat I guess. These are politicians. You really can't expect them to keep thier word 100% of the time.
