What sites are you using?

What are the pros and cons of them?

I'm down on eBay and stopped selling with them awhile back but would like to get into selling online again. I know Craigslist is big but what else is there?

I'm sick of Ebay. They are charging way too much for their service. Their fees are ridiculous and everyone on there wants something for nothing. NO thanks...I'd rather have a garage/yard sale so I can deck those people in the face instead of dealing with their annoying emails.

I use Craigslist or the marketplace on Facebook

Ebay the auction site has shot itself in the foot. It is hardly an auction site anymore. (It's more of a buy it now online store) It reminds me of PAN AM. That big #1 airliner that does not exist anymore. Ebay is so out of touch with what made them great that it is astonishing.

I do not use it to sell for reasons Christy mentioned.

In fact, I'm tired of Craigslist. I've sold a ton of things on there but I've had so many emails and no shows, I'm tired of that, too.

I've just been donating everything. Our preschool took donations for a local children in need non-profit.

I am tired of Ebay too. I had so many buyers who were hyper critical even when I advertised clothes as used and in play condition (with close ups of spots, etc) that I don't sell on there anymore. I have sold bigger things on Craigslist but clothes don't sell well on there.

I have been dividing my girls clothes up and I give part to a family we are friends with and another part I give to a family we know who are having a hard time making ends meet right now and the last part I donate to a women and children's shelter. Any household goods and my old clothes go to the shelter.

A couple of years ago I donated my old professional clothes (from before I was a professional mom) to a charity that helps women going from welfare to work. I thought it was a great charity. There is a dry cleaners near my house who takes the clothes and cleans them and then has them delivered to the charity. The women can go in and pick out a few outfits for free to wear when they are interviewing and when they get their first job.

If I sell clothes, I only sell new, the used clothes are a beating and I have not even done that recently, I cosign everything they will take and garage sell or donate the rest. My hubby is selling some electronics on ebay right now. They are doing great. I have used Craigslist for a few thing, but not with much luck.
