Oh yes im fighting it , But i am done with ebay . I hate that my ebay name was ruined , Even if she takes the neg back what she wrote will still be there. Sad isnt it ! Im sorry you went though that abbymommy . It was my own fault I should have gotten confimation on the package. As for the dress that was said to have the wrong size listed , she knows that it is a 0-3 months otherwise she would have sent it back . I even said I would pay shipping for both ways so no money would have been lost for her. Soo that should tell you , she didnt want to send the dress back cause she wanted it plus the money . Just a rip off , Oh well you live and learn. I will stick to trading stuff her , or using cheapcycle. I save tons on listing fees anyways

UPS is bad to. I had a problem with them, but I did finally get my money back. It took over 3 months, but I got it and spent a ton of time on the phone with them. This was only after shipping with them a few times. I have not used them since unless they client asked for it.

Did you already leave her feedback? If not I would give her negative feedback because she deserves it and then you will see how fast she is willing to work with you.

A week or so went by & the delivery confirmation # still said it hadn't been delivered, & I was getting worried that the money order was lost in the mail somewhere. Then the item I ordered showed up at my door (she didn't ship until the got the $$). I checked the website once again, and it still said that it was in transit & hadn't been delivered yet. I mentioned that the next time I was at the Post Office, and the lady at the counter said that is a common problem & they'd had several people complain that their packages weren't scanned in when they were delivered.
I have been selling for five years and never had any problems with packages using delivery confirmation. But I do it through paypal. It is free on Priority Mail and only like 12 cents for parcel post and first class.

I used to be a seller on ebay, and the story does not make sense due to they have a 3 strike policy. If someone turns you into ebay 3 different times, you will be kicked off. This does not include negative feedback. I have reported several people before for not sending items or paying for items. Ebay will send you a notice in your ebay messages, so you know it's for real. The reason I know is I bid a few months ago on some kids overalls. I completely forgot I bid on them, and a few weeks later log onto ebay to find out she had turned me into ebay! It was my fault though because she had sent me a few emails, and I never responded, so I emailed her right away and apologized and told her the situation. She was fine with it, and removed the inquiry from ebay.

Also if you do not pay your fees, ebay will take you off the site as a registered user. Also you can re-register under a different username. I have an account for selling and buying. It took a while to figure out how to register again without them knowing, but I found a website that went into detail on how to do it. Basically it has to do with you computers history. If you clean all of that out along with the "cache", you can register again.

I forgot to add about the del. confirmation. USPS priority mail with del. confirmation is pretty cheap, and that's is all paypal requires if there is a dispute on a package not arriving. Basically paypal says if you ship it to their confirmed address, use del. conf. and ship in a timely matter, then they are supposed to stick up for you. I do hear of scams though where if you pay with a credit card, then all you have to do is turn it into them and they will give you your money back, and then the seller is SOL!

I know in my early seller days, I sold a game boy advance to someone in california. I said on the listing that I had bought it used off of ebay, and that I only used it about 3 times. Well when the lady received it, she instantly gave me negative feedback. She said in the feedback that the item was not new, and that it had scratches on the outside cover. I was so mad!!! I emailed her and asked her why she did not email me first about this before leaving me - feedback! This was my first sell, and i got - feedback! She said she was sorry, and she did not even read my listing, she thought it was new, and she said she was a new buyer, and did not know what to do. I then told her I found a way that if we both agree, ebay will retract both of our negative feedbacks (of course I left on for her). Well, instead of doing that, she just went and added to the original feedback she left saying she should have read the listing better.

I could not believe her! I still have the - feedback till this day! I never went back and corrected hers because what she added to mine still did not sound good at all. It made me seem like I was putting things in fine print or trying to deceive with words.

I think craigslists is a pretty good idea also. It's free! You do have to watch out for scams though, they say never to send money orders for anything. I know a co-worker tried to sell his little girls bike on there, and twice the same person said they would meet him to buy it, and twice the never showed up, so it can be a waste of time also, and never meet anyone at your home to sell something, always meet somewhere public.

I am sorry - you have to deal with all this.

I am a Bit Confused though.

Ebay Kicks You off if you have 100% positive Feedback , and one Person "claims" to Have not Gotten their Package?

Years ago - I Bought a Cradle set off of someone - and they Never sent it - Well I Never got it I asked them Repeatedly for Proof of mailing it - Even A Receipt. They gave me the Run around so I Reported them to Ebay Well - ebay sided with them after many months - since they had no other Complaints.
So i was out. and I hadn't paid paypal - i paid with a MO -
But the Person went on selling- and I guess maybe My package did get lost - since there were Never another Non - Delivering -seller complaints.

Ebay is Ok if you don't get too involved -
I don't rely on the Money i make from there ever -

I also Keep My Receipts and I Don't Really Get too involved with the People -
If there is a Problem - I we always work it out -
I think I only ever left one NEG. And that was for some Newbie bidder - who thought it was fun to Run up about 20 Auctions and then stiff the Sellers.

That kind of thing happened to me on amazon once, selling a text book for about $40. DH mailed it, didn't get a confirmation number, and a couple weeks later, the guy emailed me and said he never got the book so he wanted his money back. I said the same thing, give it time, we mailed it on such and such date, but he continued. So he ended up getting amazon involved, and when I finally said "how do I know you didn't get the book, other than from your word?? I haven't received the book back!" He got amazon to get his money back. I have no proof that he never got it, because I STILL haven't gotten it back and that was in january. Whatever, lesson learned to DH, always get a confirmation/tracking number!! that's what we learned! Sorry for your ebay mis-haps, that does stink, royally!! I dislike people who think it's ok to try to get the item AND their money back....not fair.

I had gotten a negative response once for not receiving package. I emailed asking where it was, and she left me a negative feedback. I guess as punishment for questioning where the package was. You can reply to the negative comment. It will be under her negative feedback. That way, when people see the negative comment, they will also see your side of the story. Just a thought. Hope everything works out for ya!
PS. The negative feedback that she left, never effected my other transactions. One negative among lots of positive won't impact you too bad at all!
