Does anyone else do this?

I used to do this alot when my kids were younger, and I found some great deals in there. It is time consuming though and you have to pick through all the racks, but if you find a gem, its worth it!

Once I found some Hanna Anderssen dresses that were in like new condition, for like $4 each. I sold them on ebay for around $20 each, so that was a pretty good profit.

Another time, I found a game, still in the plastic for $1. It was some sort of role playing game, or a mystery game, can't remember what it was called. I sold it for $11! I was shocked, cuz I took a chance on it, never even hearing of it before.

Any gems you have found at your local Goodwill?

Our local Salvation Army runs their children's books 20/$1 fairly often. They get donations from the local Scholastic warehouse and well as from teachers. I buy books I know are used in homeschooling curriculums and re-sell them online for $1 + shipping. It's not much but it adds up. I was able to buy ds's birthday gift this year with the money I'd made selling books, plus I've found several things for our own homeschool.

I found an Oilily sweater at a local thrift store for 25 cents and sold it for $10.00.
