A caution to the person who suggested using Ebay for the breastpump - check the rules. Ebay used to NOT allow used breastpumps for sale b/c they considered it medical equipment. Your listing could get pulled and then you're out the fees - this happened to me! You may get lucky but if someone reports you for a listing against Ebay policy, you'll lose the listing.[/quote]

I never heard of that and when I sold mine last year there were tons of used breastpumps for sale. I only sold the pump and told them they would need to get new tubes and stuff because that to me would be gross to use someone else's even if they claim it was cleaned.

ebay is a rip off to buyers because the sellers are WAY over charging for shipping these days! it's also kind of a hassle to sell stuff on.

We are ADDICTED to craigslist. I've sold lots of stuff and it's FREE, no fees!
LOCAL - no shipping. Love love love it!!

I've made so much money selling there!

Also my father fixes tools - but has no internet skills so he's going to start bringing me stuff to post for him and we share the money, good deal for me!!

I would post on Craigslist first and if it doesn't sell then go ebay. No fees with craigslist. It is awesome.

I too sold my breastpump on ebay last year. Got over $100.00 for it.

I just think ebay has forgotten where their roots are from, that is the sellers!!!

Oh I agree on that one and I would also suggest to make sure that the pickup happens during the day and when your dh is home, you never know what kind of weirdo may be coming by.

I can't agree with you more, the charges are ridiculous.

I agree with you that the shipping and handling costs are going to be the downfall of Ebay in my opinion. I know I have seen things that have more than three times the cost of the item for s&h costs. Or when you pay that much and you receive the item the s&h costs weren't accurate.

What exactly is the craiglist? When I googled-I got a bunch of things. I've done ebay with no problems, but if there is a better one -I'm interested.

I really like craigslist - it is less commercial (in my opinion) and i trust it more. i know a few people who tried to purchase stuff on eBay that got scammed!
