I don't think that ebayers rip people off I know I don't and I have hardly ever been ripped off. Something some ebayers don't realize is they can go to the auction page and click on shipment details. If the person shipped through Paypal it will give the confirmation number and when it was shipped. I don't always send emails because I print the postage as soon as I get payment and Paypal sends a email with the confirmation number.

Well with this particular lady I had been in contact with her by e-mail and given her the UPS tracking number and for whatever reason four days for her to pay for it and receive it was just too long I guess.

I don't think that for the most part every ebayer rips people off, but I do think that when someone gets ripped off once it does tend to turn them away, which is a shame. My husband and I used to spend so much time looking at cool things on ebay and now we have gone back to browsing at stores.

You know when I am selling things, I check my auction when I know its due to be up... Cause I want the buyer to know that I am aware and get them to pay so I can get the shipping out ASAP.. I always give them TWO days to pay... I have had some go over the two days, but they normally have good explanation... I'm a forgiving person I just wait.. But heck if its something I have ordered, I would think at least within two day they should respond.. That reminds me I have something I won on auction and no one has replied to me about it... Hum, going to send them a email..

How do I do this? I just looked at the auction and didn't find this.

Normally, you would get an email saying that the seller has just made a shipping label from Paypal. If they don't use paypal, you won't get this email.

I think you should have gotten an email by now, but remember if she doesn't ship anything file a complaint with PayPal and Ebay!

Just like you said if it was done through paypal, I know that the lady that bought something from me was able to suck the money right back, just by saying it wasn't her that ordered it, so I would think for sure if you hadn't received it yet you should be able to get your money back and not have to deal with the individual.

Anyway I just received the item yesterday, 02/15, so we gave my SIL a gift card to Walmart instead. I had emailed the seller a few times, they got back to me on 02/08 saying it was sent, should be here 2-3 days. I don't know what kind of feedback to leave, item in perfect condition, just upset that it took that long.
Did the package have a postmark, so you can tell when it was actually mailed? Sometimes the PO can flake out on you. I mailed some Ebay sales before Christmas, Priority, and while most of them arrived in 3 days, two of them got stuck somewhere for about a week. It was weird, but luckily the buyers were fairly understanding (one more than the other).

As far as feedback, I'd say either neutral or positive - the item did get there and was in good shape, but the shipping was slow and communication doesn't sound like it was that great. Whichever you choose, definitely mention the shipping and communication. Ebay's feedback system works best when people aren't afraid to mention that sort of thing.
