I utilize the daylights out of this...and save a boatload. It's great also if you have a siter or friend(Mom or whatever)also to split the costs of the coupons with.

For me,I shop at a store called Giant Eagle.
Their new ad sales always start on Wednesday.
But their ads come out online at their website around 2 o'clock on Tuesday.
I buy all my coupons by end of day Tuesday.Which give my coupons a full week to arrive.(after about 3 years of couponing on Ebay I LUCKILY have yet for coupons to not arrive on time)
Where I really save big is that my store does alot of weekly buy one get one free coupons.
What people dont seem to know is that you can use coupons on both items even though one is already free.

example...
popcorn was on sale b1g1(at 2.98 a pack)
I had coupons for .55 off 1
(my store doubles)
so ended up getting 2.20 off the 2.98
2 boxes of popcorn =.39 a box

also always watch for new items.

another example

nestle has a new candy bar out...nestle treasures

coupons are on ebay for 75/1
these candy bars are 1.79 at my store
but with the coupons I bought I get them for .29
candy bars at Wal mart are .48 here let alone to get 1.79 bar for .29
I bought a ton of them to put back for Easter baskets.

also be sure to run a search on the "wyb" coupons

when you buy

if you can get more money off something your already buying with coupons this doubles the savings.

Good luck and have fun ---- couponing is addictive fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally recommend this to everyone...at least try it....major...MAJOR savings to be had there....I saved the money last year that I used and in 3 months had the money to go to Lowes and bought the biggest upright freezer they had...and get this...to further my savings I bought a 10% off Lowes coupon on Ebay and used that on my freezer...ended saving enough to cover the tax on the freezer and another $15 and change.

If anyone finds this intimidating at first I will help in any way possible...Ebay is Easy and could definately be a huge money saver if used right.

look also for store couponson there -you can get em for Fashion bug ,target...etc.

Just run a search on the internet for things too...

We bought a new double wide last year and I found a $1000.00 coupon for it on the internet!!!!!!!!!

I looked up my favorite thrift store on the internet.low and behold they have a site...signed up for their mailing list and about 4 times a year get coupons for 5.00 off a 10.00 purchase.I got my husband a tommy hilfiger sweatshirt that was new with the tags for 65.00 priced for 10.00 ---I got it for 5.00.

GREAT tips and advice! I am going to start looking myself!

One question - you said to be sure and search for "wyb" coupons. Could you please explain this more - I'm not following that part.

wyb stands for "when you buy" in ebay listing they use that "wyb" in the listings for those coupons.

here's an example...

Keebler cookies were on sale a while back(I forget for how much)
I used coupons on them and got them for like .80 a package.
I had also found(and used along with the cookie coupons)
a wyb coupon that was "get 1.00 off milk when you buy 2 packs of keebler cookies".

alot of differnt brands have these...

with coupons I usually get jars of Hellmanns mayo for about 1.00
I used those a while back with a wyb coupon that was buy 2 jars of mayo and get 1.00 off burger sauce(that was on sale for 1.00 so I got it free.
so for 2.00 I got 2 jars of mayo and a bottle of burger sauce(the mayo alone at my store is usuall 2.79 a jar,I got all 3 for less than full price of one.

also if you have kids.......the new mac n cheese CUPS are (regularly)10 for 10.00
Ebay has coupons right now for 75 cents off 1.If your store doubles they're .50 a pc.
Great to have on hand for a quick toddler lunch or for Easter baskets if you get sick of giving junk food.

depends....when does your sale start?whats the first and last sale day for you?

also...do you have any other stores in your area you dont typically shop at that you could check into about coupons?

I have done this a few times (buying coupons on ebay) and I have always got my money back out of them and then saved more. I did get a few of those 10% off Lowes coupons, we are doing a lot of projects, so every $$ helps!
My grocery store doubles $.75 and under, so I look for the .75 coupons on items I would buy anyway.
