the same thing happened to me and paypal refunded my money. Seller never responded to emails. I eventually heard from the seller and they had been in a terrible car accident. I would just let paypal handle it and see what happens!

Paypal is great and you probably will get your money back sooner than you think, but I would be sure to use ebay's dispute process too. If nothing else you will have given them every possible opportunity to respond. If they don't then your dispute is automatically decided in your favor and there will be a mark against the seller in addition to your neg feedback. The only downside is that the whole process takes a week or two.
