I'm not sure how to change the invoice, but for combined shipping I usually find a box that will fit everything and get a total weight, then add a bit for handling and packing materials. For really light things, I can sometimes fit multiple things in one of the Priority boxes and still go under a pound. If they're small enough, one of the Flat Rate boxes might work if they allow enough room for adequate packing.
I've seen some sellers that will figure combined shipping with full rate for the heaviest thing, then 50% of the stated shipping for the second item, 25% for the third item. I've seen others that say full rate for the first, then $2 or whatever for the second.
In part, it depends on how heavy the items are to begin with, and how they're being shipped. For example, if I'm sending books and using Media Mail, I'd probably just charge the actual shipping or maybe $1.25 per extra book, since Media is charged by the pound, and the extra per-pound charge isn't more than maybe $1.
Did that help any?
