You all have Good suggestions .... however I truly Believe it is all Luck when Selling on ebay -
I have been Buying / selling for years and Have had some Strange sale Patterns -

I think it all depends on who's looking for what that particular week

Just recently I Had an adorable NWT Nike Girls set up for bid -

I had about 10 Watchers - and I was thinking " this is going to be Good " -

NOT!! I had not ONE single bid

I waited a Few days and then Re listed the Item -

Guess what ? It sold with Buy it now for 39.99 just 3 hours after Re listing. :happy dance:

The whole Auction was the same as before too -

I have also sold used Gymboree for over 20.00 an outfit - and Brand new gymboree for less than Original Price on items

I have learned its simply hit or miss - unfourtunatly -
It was better years ago before the whole world started to sell.

Everything seemed to sell Quick and For a decent price too.

I have found that clothes can be difficult to sell because there is so much competition. I do much better selling my son's gently used clothing, but even then I don't get a whole lot, even if I list as a huge lot.

Something else that I found is sometimes the size of the clothing makes a difference. I have found that huge clothing lots for babies (0-3 months) did not sell as well as toddler size clothing, maybe because babies grow so fast and no one wants to invest in 40 pieces of clothing that will soon be too small.

Depending on what you are selling lots can be good or bad. Generally, I avoid big lots of items when I am looking for something specific.

I also agree that good pictures and descriptions is a must.

Also make sure that your title has the key words that someone would be searching.

Good Luck.

ebay is really a hit and miss kind of place- for selling and buying. i ahve sold things on there for alot more then yout hink they would go and sold stuff for a lot less then you think. have also sold things 2 or 3 times beofre they sell. you also have to think aobut what you are selling -sell it at the right time of year for summer clothes list them around feb. or march(also a good time since people are getting their taxes!!) list winter stuff around sept. i have mostly only sold baby items and kids clothes. but i have noticed that they normally sell better as a "lot" i have also heard for some reaon, dont really know why, that the smaller baby clothes dont sell as good. be sure your shipping is a fair price, give good descriptions and pictures, and accept pay pal, a lot of buyers will only pay with pay pal. defintely dont show clothes folded, give separate pictures for large lots of clothes, describe each piece.
