I have listed stuff a few times on Ebay and I must be doing something wrong. I have listed them in lots with all name brand items and have never gotten a bid.

What suggestions do you have for me? I have tons of stuff I would like to sell! I always make sure I have a picture with the best discription.

THANK YOU!!

Sue

HAve you checked out your shipping charges? Are they realistic? If you have items on Ebay now let me know your Ebay ID name. I will gladly look to see if there is anything that coud be better!

Also see my post about the list/end day. Someone provided a calendar that helps you figure out the best day to list - the day you list your item can have a big impact on how many people are seeing it.

It could be ANYTHING. At this time of year it maybe buyers have spent all their tax return money or have to pay taxes. If you're doing a large lot, more than one picture helps (I use Activia). As a buyer I like to see descriptions typed nicely, spell checked, not all caps that are informative but not too wordy.
Hope that helps!

I agree. I dont like to feel like I am being yelled at! Also, try to watch the tone of your refund policy and expectations as far as payment. If it sounds harsh ( even though you do not mean it to be) that will deter people! Also, more than 1 picture for a large lot. I like to actually see what I am bidding on. I hate half folded shirts where there is no description given! Add some kind of description about each piece! Doesnt have to be long but just so it shows you took time to list! Make sure you have a great Subjsect line---Size, brand, girl/boys. It doesnt have to make sense! Get the important info on there esp if you dont use a gallery pic! Obviously, FEEDBACK is important! If you have low feedback, sell a few smaller things before adding high value items! You will get more money that way!

Good pictures of nice neat clothing is a must for me to buy. If the pics of the clothing look rough, wrinkled or dirty, I will not bid. Also, make sure your starting bid is not to high. That will make people stray away also. Good luck.

Also, you may want to check the category that you have your items listed in. Sometimes that makes a difference if it is in the wrong place, people will not see it. One other thing is do a price comparison with other lots listed. Good luck!

Where can I find the calendar that was being referred to? I would LOVE to better use my e-bay time/fees so that items might sell better. I am having pretty good luck so far, but could always do better.
