Yup! Fees keep going up. That's why I always make considerations on my items first before I sell. If I don't make anything from my sales, then it aint worth it. Although I have been doing very well selling my school textbooks on half.com.

that si the worst part of ebay , if the item wont sell for enough then it is not even worth listing, thats why i dont get people that start a bid at .99, youa re def. not makeing anything off of it if it sells for that, if anytihng you are loosing money. you ahve to pay the listing fee, the final value fee,a nd pay pal fee!!! that si why i like to list "lots" so you can actually make something out of it.

I always list stuff on craigslist first because if it does not sell, it makes noe difference to me. Most big things sell for me on craigslist. I lucked out last year and ended up getting a playmat that Target had in the back on clerance for $17. This same mat is on babysrus website for $69.99. i sold it on craigslist for $35 (after dd had used it) However I have not had luck on craigslist with clothes, I sold a few things but mostly clothes have sold better on ebay. In fact I just sold a jacket I got on clerance at the Childrens Place for dd last year for 6.99 on ebay for 9.99. I always start my listings at .99 and one or two times I have had them sell for .99 in which case I make like 20 cents or something, but I usually make enough on other stuff to make it worth while.

It is so frustrating, I agree. I read an article somewhere that eBay is really just slowly pushing out the little sellers in favor of the power sellers who really rake in the dough for them. It sure looks like they are money hungry.
