What do you all think sells best?
~I have some luck with my kids gently worn clothes put into lots
Do you like to list EVERYTHING on one day so you only have to go to the post office once? Or would you rather list a few things at a time spreading out the work?
~I don't know what your day to day schedule is but just because all your auctions end on one day doesn't mean they are all going to pay you in a day! I'd say for every 5 auctions, someone will pay you before you can invoice them, 3 will pay in a decent amount of time and 1 will drag their feet.
Do you like longer listings? Or do you like your auctions to end sooner?
~I don't do less than a 5 day auction and I only do those if I'm trying to avoid ending on a holiday or something.
How do you all ship? I have a food scale where I could weigh the packages, but I've also heard there are flat rates for shoe boxes or something, I know you can get the padded envelopes for some smaller things... what have you found works the best?
~ I started out using a food scale but my DH got me a nice scale and now I print postage through Paypal and ship from home (or drop it off in a mailbox)
You can order free priority mail boxes and evelopes from the USPS site. If you use the boxes and envelopes for something other than priority, the buyer could be charged the priority rate
Good luck!
