Ok I am majorly curious, what is so special about Gymboree clothing? I didn't know anyting about it until I started selling on Ebay myself. I noticed that Ebay even has tutorials about it.

Don't think I am crazy please, LOL.

Nope I don't think your dumb! LOL A lot of people ask that question.

Gymboree is mostly mix and match items, they only come out with certain 'lines' about once a month. People that are shopping on ebay are shopping for an outfit they really want or are trying to complete an outfit. Gymboree is really well made and when you work the sale really good, you can get items cheaper than walmart. Alot of people buy Gymboree JUST for the resale value. There are people that are will to pay rediculous amounts of money just for socks. There are Yahoo groups, and other boards that are just for buying and selling of gymboree.

I actually LOVE gymboree too. I'm on a few of those loops, but there is 1 board I post on the most, its a Gymboree/Naartjie group. I've been able to dress my kids in really nice clothes for pennies. Thats a great thing!

I never really was into Gymboree per say until the past year and a half. I must say that I spent barely anything on my DD's clothes and they look really well- like they never been washed! I recently sold 3 outfits on craigslist that she outgrew- I paid about $5 on all of them at a Thrift Store and someone paid $20 for them- well worth the investment if you can get it for cheap!

I LOVE Gymboree..DD is small for her age and we just spent our 3rd summer in some of our clothes. The Gymboree clothes still look like new. They wash and wear well. They are inexpensive if you shop the sales, and you can resale them for as much or more than you paid for them sometimes. We also wear alot of Janie and Jack (Gymboree's boutique line) for the same reason, though the sales are not as good. I am hoping to start listing children's clothes after school starts and I have more time

I like Gymboree for the Sales and For the Way it FITS my Daughter-

That is it -

I don't Personally think that it looks any newer than any other name brand clothes that have been Washed and worn

I don't Get it when People say In their Descriptions The Outfit has "Classic Gymbo Fade"
I find that amusing - Like its that special it has "Gymbo" Fade -

Oh My Sons outfit he is Wearing today has "Circo" Fade

Its Wash Fade Folks!! It happens to all Clothes - Believe it or not - LOL!

I Am the Type of Person whose Kids Have to Always have Really cute Clothes - I can Get by without the Latest Fashions - But I Live vicariously through my Kids - They have to Look Good if we go out.....

I Buy clothes anywhere though From goodwill to Nordstrom to Boutiques to Ebay - and I Almost always Pay just a Fraction of the Regular Price !!

I have had Gymboree Fall apart and shrink in the Wash and I have had Kmart Clothes Last For Many seasons looking Good as new -

So I Personally do not Buy into the Fact that gymboree is Great - in a Class of its own.:I don't Get all the Hype either -

And with Kids being the kids they are Once its Stained or ripped - its worthless anyway- and has ZERO resale Value- and yes My Son Just Ruined an adorable Gymbo outfit With A Red ice pop - Last week -
Stains don't Magically come out of it unfortunately -

LOL But Gymbo has a fade all its own, believe it or not. Most gymbo does NOT fade, but almost always the Navy, and black fade quickly after 1 or 2 washings. I always hear lots of complaints about gymbo Navy fade.

Yep I have been Buying Gymbo For Years -

I just don't see that its that great -
Yes it is adorable - but it is like any other store bought clothing IMO
I have seen it Last Beautifully - but i have had many items lose the bottom Stitching - and i think the Knees and the Butt Wears quicker in Gymbo Cotten ....

I agree the heavier Materials seem to last Nice ...

Isn't it all made in china anyway??

No Wait - I think Gymbo is Made in Indonesia or Guatemala or Something right?? -

I Forget -
