I recently bought a dress at a $2 a bag sale(I stuffed the bag full). The dress was a 5T Just Friends dress. It was white with a blue floral design. I listed it on ebay and it went for $14.50!!!! My gymboree outfit only went for $6.50 and it was a sweater, cord pants and matching hat!!! Is that a good brand or what? I don't get it.

i never heard of that brand. but i recently put a dress on ebay it was the childrens hour brand(never heard of that before either) i had bought off ebay ,the seller i bought it from said it was wore once. it was a little dressier dress i planned on haveing my daughter wear for her 1st bday pics. but she ended up wearing something else so we never used it, i paid .99 for it on ebay. i listed it on ebay and sold it for 10.50!! i also listed a few diff. gymbo. outfits. i was a good old days nwt bodysuit, and a euc hat sold for around 4-6, also lemon tree euc pants and shirt outfit sold for around 4-6(i think 1 was 4.00,1 was 6.00 or something, cant remmeber right now) and a nwt peruvian doll 2 piece velour set sold for 9.99. it is crazy sometimes what stuff sells for on there! you just never know.

it could be a boutique brand name!! a lot of those types do tend to cost higher!!

i jusy typed in girls just friends on ebay and the items that came up were not that high yet or had no bids at all, it could be a boutique brand or it could of just been a very nice dress and someone really wanted it

We get lots of Just Friends around here - it's kind of on-par with BT Kids. It usually shows up in places like Macy's or Kohls. Not boutique, but not poor quality either. $17.50 seems a bit high, because that's probably what it would sell for new (on sale). They probably just liked the dress!

Here they sell Just Friends at Macy's. The pants and shirts are are something like $10 per piece regular price, often go on sale for $5 or so and clearance I've gotten them for $2-$3. I don't know what the dresses run. You did great on e-bay!! Must have been a cute dress!!!

I think you just happen to hit a prime selling time. I don't believe Just Friends is a boutique brand, nor is it a 'well known' brand. I think you just happen to have a cute dress that a few people really wanted and ended at a good time! Plus with BTS time, auctions are tending to hit pretty good right now.
