I just did business with two sellers, or should I say DD did on my account, one the transaction was fine but there was a warning saying if you don't leave good feedback we will not address any problems you may have. (how can that be within the rules?) the next was with Sundayseconds the item was not in good condition. They offered returns on the web site but tried to drag it on so I would miss the time allwed also they stated negative feedback would result in their not responding to you. Therefore, there is no way ratings can be truthful when they threaten you right off the bat. Why couldn't I leave a rating saying item not as pictured to warn other sellers. Well, I couldn't. This is a problem eBay needs to address. Buy with caution.

UM, you need to forward those emails to ebay. That is in NO Way acceptable!! That is feedback begging, and is one of the main reasons the crappy 'new' feedback started. They can NOT leave negative feedbacks if it is not warrented.
