well i ahve several good and bad,LOL. but one that sticks out in my mind now is i had a lot of baby items. i had starting bid at around 10.00, buy it now 30.00. someone bid and the bid ended up going to around 60.00(like double my buy it now price!!)
i think one of the best i bought was a new britax marathon car seat. it was going to cost me over 300.00 if i bought it at a store online(i dont ahve any stores near me that has them so i was going to have to pay a ton just for shipping) i paid 200 ofr one on ebay.

I bought this massage item that you put under your mattress that makes your whole bed vibrate at a furniture store on New Years Day for $1 (crazy day special) and sold it for over $100. This was also after I used it on my sons bed when he was a baby. The vibrations really helped him relax. his bouncy seat vibrated but would shut off after so much time. When it shut off it woke him up. I found this at it did the trick perfectly for 3 months until he out grew the need for it.

I sold the very first issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine for almost $200; this was when she was on trial for lying about her stocks. I also sold some out of print cross stitch patterns for a bundle!

I have a story about my mom selling something. She found a beehive cake mold by Martha Stewart at a sale for a couple bucks. She ended up selling it for 500 dollars, this was also at the time of Martha's trial and jail time

I didn't get a lot of money for it, but I'm proud that I sold it and kept it out of a landfill: the 1950s pink toilet from when we remodelled our bathroom. The pink sink chipped when we removed it, and we kept the tub. I got more email and inquiries over that pink toilet than anything I ever sold. The stopper was the cost of shipping. Finally sold it to someone in Ohio who drove to pick it up (I'm in Michigan). Only got $25 for it, but she had a 1950's museum & was going to put it in there. I brought her to my basement & showed her 2 1950's hollywood headboards - pearlized vinyl - that I got stuck with when we cleaned my mom's house out. She took those off my hands and I got another $25 for them as well!

I had boght a Longaberger Basket at a salvage store for $5 and then used it for about 2 years. When we moved, I didn't have room for it so I decided to list it on Ebay. It had a crack in it, which I documented and put a picture of on my listing. The basket sold for over $60!! I was very proud of that sale.

I bought a Snoopy ornament at a yard sale for a quarter and sold it for $76.00. I also bought a couple of American Girl Scene's and Settings for $7 and sold each of them for around $60-70. Oh I remember another, I bought a couple of really nice wool coats for $5 and sold them for around $200.00

The thing I was the most EXCITED to buy was an Ewok Village (from Star Wars). Our children's museum had an old one on display and my ds LOVED it but they didn't sell them anymore. I searched and searched on ebay and every time one came available they sold for a ton to star wars collector nerds. But I FINALLY got him one and ordered a bunch of characters and ewok figures and gave it to him for Christmas. He loved it!!
