Forgive me if this topic has been discussed, but I was wondering what your opinions are on listing like items in lots vs. individually. I have recently listed some things on ebay, and now I am wondering if I should have listed them as separate items. I have some more things to list, and before I did so, I wanted to see if I could get some feedback on this issue first. If you want to look at how I have listed before giving me feedback, my link is in the ebay Tuesday post for this week.

TIA!

I list all clothes in lots mostly because of the time. I have done well and I have done not not so well. For eaxmple I had several lots listed recently of about 20-30 items. I got 41 for one and 8.99 for another. I don't know if I listed fall/winter stuff too early, because I did much better in the spring with my summer lots which I didn't think were as nice.

For clothes...I do list in lots b/c saves time plus, gain more interest and more revenue~ money wise.
Individual is like electonics to furniture and etc...
I do sometimes list individual winter jackets for children b/c it is heavy to ship in lots...not really economical shipping cost.

I have done both and had mixed luck. I list like items in lots and more unique items as seperate. If there is an item I am unsure of, I list it sepreate. I am always afraid that one different item will keep a lot from going for a good price.

As a buyer, I feel I get more for my money if i buy lots instead of individual listings. I will buy multiple items from 1 buyer, thus creating my own lots, but I am much more apt to buy if it is a lot.

I personally have found that large lots sell for less money per piece. I normally sell in outfits. I do very well with 2 piece outfits. I have sold in lots but most of the time I am disappointed with the total at the end. The smaller the clothes the more likely I am to sell in a lot. For girls size 8 and up, and boys size 7 and up, I almost always sell in outfit lots.
