I'm sure this has been covered several times, but how many of you use ebay to supplement your family income??

We do, but we mostly use it for fun money. When we want or need something that we can't afford otherwise. We sell on Ebay a lot during the Halloween and Christmas season to pay for Christmas.

I don't use it as a steady second income stream, because both my DH and I are employed full time. I use it to supplement - Christmas, increasing my yarn stash, a special birthday present - things like that.

I know that there are lots of people out there who do Ebay as a living, but it's a full time job. You have to be very organized, and constantly find a variety of things to sell. A lot of FT Ebayers get their things from yard sales and such.

I used ebay to supplement for awhile - but unless you can get really good products like band new knock off purses, shoes or electronics -- a lot of used stuff doesn't bring in a whole lot of money. Also I agree finding the stuff to sell and taking the picture and posting is definately a fulltime job. I am recently separated and about to be happily divorced so I have been hard core about looking for easy extra cash. If you want me to share what I have found I would be happy too pass on the info. Just click my email anytime.
