There are a few newbies on board with us who have stated they have never sold on ebay but want too. Can you give them your one BEST selling technique??

charge actual shipping, get a postal scale you can get them very cheap on ebay, weigh your item and charge actual shipping. high shipping prices is one of the biggest turn offs for ebay items. take good pics., describe in good detail. and accept pay pal.

Make sure you post the actual sizes of clothing and not "fit my child when he/she was..." I just got a clothing lot and It said all items were size 7. NONE were size 7- they were 6x and that was it...make sure you post the correct info on items. Check and recheck before you post.

good pictures really do help. I read so many "this picture does not show this item at it's best" well, darn it, if it doesn't get a better picture! So, yeah, good pictures are a great help.

Others are correct with the "actual postage"...don't try to be making money off of your postage...charge actual postage and maybe a SMALL "handling fee" if NECCESARY!!! handling would cover buying a "special packaging box/bag" or if you have to drive a ways to the post office- but don't over charge!!!!

Mail the item(s) as quick as you can. If you know you can't mail items on certain days- make sure you have item auctions END on appropriate days! Don't have items end on a Monday if the ONLY day of the week you can mail them is on a Friday or Saturday.
