Whats the best way to do the shipping??

I like to wiegh my items at home, then input the weight and such right into paypal. I print out the label right at home and put my boxes for the mailperson to pick up.

I also like to keep my cost low so if I'm just shipping a small clothing item, I put it in a ziplock back and mail it in a Manilla envie. It costs less than $2 usually. Plus I think buyers are attracted to auctions with LOW shipping.

I do know some people still like to go to the PO and have the boxes weighed and print shipping there.

Which do you prefer?? How do you ship?

I have a shipping scale and print off of paypal also. So easy and if I want the PO to pick up, I just schedule one. It is great.

I am lacking a scale and printer ink so I go to the PO once a week to ship all of my items. In the sale I tell them I ship on Saturdays. I usually wrap clothing items in a plastic bag then put it in a bubble mailer (I buy those at Walmart in pkgs). I'm not sure if this is the cheapest method but I never know what I might sell so I always keep bubble mailers on hand.

I use paypal to print shipping labels as well. I put clothes in those "kevlar" type envelopes. DH uses the priority flat rate boxes when he sells tools. That is much cheaper because of their weight. If it is an expensive item & I'm not going to be home, then I take it to the post office myself, otherwise, I leave it for the mailman to pick up.

On a side note, I often get clothes in plasitc envelopes. Does anyone know where they come from? I can't find them anywhere.
