I would give it another week and then give her a final date of about a week later. You do have to take things at face value. I got sick and had emergency surgery during an e-bay transaction. I was really afraid they were not going to believe me, but they were very nice while dh mailed it - almost 3 weeks after the transaction! I was in the hospital 8 days and completely forgot about it as it was not the top priority at the time. It was in my e-mail box so dh didn't think to check it.

Not to sound mean, but Ive notice alot of people use that excuse. Sometimes its the truth and sometimes its not. I too had someone use that someone had passed. All you can do is believe them.
Life does go on and they should ship your item.

I just now filed a Item Not Received Dispute so hopefully she will respond and we can get this resolved. I know things like this happen but I see selling on E-Bay as a business and even they still have to take care of business. When you are employed and there is a death in the familly you get some time off but you still have to go back to work eventually.

Good, hopefully you'll at least get a response. I would also check to see if this seller is still selling (has current auctions) and any recent feeback, negative, not receiving product etc...

Ebay allows sellers 30 days to get the item to you. Even though most sellers do not take that long. You can ask for a refund at any time but she doesn't have to give it unless it has been over 30 days. Ebay sellers are moms, workers, busy people too. I say give her the benefit of the doubt and allow her the extra time.

If you paid with Paypal, then the seller has only 7 days to ship or they aren't covered! With that said, if you paid with Paypal then I would look into filing a complaint with them!
