Hmmm....I had thought about doing this, but it looks like way more work than I thought. I need to really go through my house and organize, come up with some room for it, and get a digital camera. Also I need a car. LOL! I thought I would have one by now, but work is real slow for my hubby.

I agree with the article that selling on eBay is a full-time job. I was once excited about doing it, but after tallying up the amount of hours I spend prepping the sale item, creating the listing, communicating with buyers, and shipping, I wasn't making much. In fact, in some cases, I was losing money - would've been better to donate. The cost of shipping is the killer, plus the eBay and Paypal fees.

I read about some moms who sell their things on Craigslist. I've done that for larger items, but now am thinking of making up some Lots of smaller things and giving that a shot. Faster and free.

One other thing - it most definitely has a lot to do with what you're selling. I sell mainly kids clothes, toys and books. I imagine there are more profitable things to sell, in which case it might be easier to make a living out of it.
