Okay so I am fairly new to the whole ebay thing. I have been just kind of watching for awhile but decided to jump in a bid on a few items. Well, I won an item on the 1st of this month. I used paypal and paid for the item the same day but I havent heard from the seller at all. No shipping info nothing. Is this typical? Im not sure what I should do. Should I contact the seller and ask if she has shipped the items or just wait? Is there a time limit between when an aution ends and when the item has to be shipped out? Like I said I am kinda new at this and not quite sure what I am supposed to do. Thanks for the advice. :D

Hi! sometimes people go ahead and ship w/o letting you know. If they shipped through paypal you would get an email through payapl saying they printed a shipping label but again not everyone does this. What kind of shipping was stated in the auction. Also did they specify they only ship on certain days? I would go ahead and ask the seller if your item has shipped and wait for their response. I once had someone get into a car accident and didn't hear from them for weeks and finally filed a complaint through paypal. I eventually heard from seller that she was in a serious car accident and my money was refunded!

I wouldn't even begin to wonder about it. If you paid on the 1st (a Friday) then it is very possible with the holiday that it just shopped yesterday. I would give them at least until the beginning of next week. It's my experience most people don't tell you they have shipped, especially people who sell a ton.

I buy a lot on Ebay & I always wait until the seller sends me an invoice before I pay. This way I know they know I won, & any combining of shipping happens & I have an email to look back at. THe item you won should be in your "my ebay" if you want to contact the seller at some p[oint, You could just explain that you're new to this & you wanted to make sure you did everything ok. Okay, I double checked and the seller will ship it by media mail so it may take awhile. I guess I will just wait a week or two and hope it comes. Thanks for all your help.

yah media mail shipping ususally takes forever. but its cheap! LOL
