if you don't already have a paypal account you will need to set one up/ just go to paypal.com it will help you through it. i do believe that once you first start selling on ebay you have to have one. if not it is just a lot easier.
there will be a link on your myebay page that says something like start selling. that will pretty well give you all the info you will need to start. it takes you through step by step.

my advice to you is make sure you spell everything correctly before confirming. that is a mistake i made and probably lost some money and i wasn't able to change it once i found the mistake.

Good Luck to you!
I also joined auctiva. This is an auction hosting site. It allows me to put more pictures and display a scrolling bar that shows buyers all of my auctions at that time. It is neat. I wished I would have known about it sooner. I don't sell on ebay anymore, but a lot of auctions use auctiva if you look around for one. I think their website is auctiva.com. It is pretty easy to use.
