There have been so many. But one of the ones that stick out in my mind is a ceramic snoopy ornament that I paid a quarter for at a yard sale and sold it for $76. I bought a couple of really nice mens winter coats last year for $7 for both and they sold for around $250.00. Oh yeah, I just remembered! I bought a Mickey Mouse business card holder for like a $1 at a yard sale and it sold for $100.00. But the matching desk pieces only sold for around $10 each.

I just had an auction end today for a $10 formula check- I got $8.16 for it! Nothing to retire on but I was impressed at how much it brought considering it wasnt a brand i used and would have normally thrown it out!

I haven't had any "wows" that I can think of up until now and still have had no really high bids. However, recently, we saw a Little Tikes playhouse out for the garbage man and since it was in our neighborhood, we stopped and asked if we could have it. It was only missing a shutter and there were a couple of cracks in the roof...my 2 year old sure didn't care! Anyway, the guy ended up giving us TONS of stuff. In it was some bedding...an almost new Toy Story comforter and sheet set but it was missing the pillowcase. I tried to barter it, nobody wanted it...so I put it on eBay for $.99. The auction ends in another hour and the bids are up to $16 something and has 11 watchers. I had no idea Toy Story bedding would be so popular!? I didn't really expect it to sell at all, or expected someone to wait until the last minute and nab it for the listed $.99!

I haven't sold much on Ebay, but there was one sale that totally blew me away.

I bought a 1977 Charlie's Angels lunch box at a yard sale for $5. It was in almost brand-new condition and still had the Thermos. I was going to let dd have it for taking lunch to school (just to be different), but my dh lost his job and I needed some quick cash. I saw that metal lunch boxes were selling well on Ebay, so I threw this one on there and ended up making $70!

My DH and I went to a Spurs game when we were on vacation a few years ago. They were giving away bobbleheads to people who were given certain numbers when we walked in the door - well, we both won, so we gave one to the friends who got us the tickets to the game and listed the other on ebay - $250 - can't even remember who the player was.

My best ebay sale was last Christmas. Back in 1977, my mother purchased some of the Empire Strikes Back action figures, kept them in their boxes, and stored them in the attic for years (almost 30, since ESB came out in 1977!). She gave them to me where they sat in my basement, in the same box, for several more years. I decided to put them up on ebay. And, much to my surprise, I got over $1000 for them! The best seller was a Luke Skywalker figure still in the original packaging. It went for nearly $500! The price tag was still on the package - I believe my mother paid $1.97 for it.

:D :D :D

I recently found some Sonny and Cher dolls, Welcome Back Kotter dolls, and Charlie's Angels dolls that are still in their original packages that I will put up on ebay one of these days...
