Okay here is the deal. My aunt lives in TX and called me a few weeks ago and asked me to bid for something on ebay for her. Something her husband wanted. The seller was in England. I said sure, I've done it for her before. She said she could send me a money order, or she could just paypal me for it, not a big deal.

SO I win the item for them, it came to $13.01 with shipping. The seller seemed nice enough. I got the invoice and forwarded it to them, thinking if they had paypal to pay me, just pay HIM and get it sent right to them. She never emailed me back to tell me she got it or what she was doing. So after 3 days I checked the auction and saw it still wasn't paid and paid it myself with paypal. I figured they were waiting for ME to pay it thinking that was the original plan anyhow.

SO I get the item in the mail, FAST shipping! The NEXT Day I get an email from the seller saying he had gotten a money order and was confused, please advice. SO I tell him what happened, they were supposed to send ME the money order, I can wait till you cash it, but then can yourefund my paypal. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I heard NOTHING back. So I emailed him again, Did you get my message? Sorry sorry sorry, can you refund me?
Still no response!

I'm annoyed! First I'm annoyed that my aunt didn't even email me back a
'thanks' to let me know what she was doing, that I took care of it to save my ebay rating. Not gonna risk my perfect 100 for them. Second, whats up with guy?? He's stealing the money!! I guess its our fault for not having good contact about what we were actually doing, but geeze! SO I'm sure I have no recourse, as I paid, he sent, and my aunt wasn't even involved in the transaction. So one of us is definatly out the $13 and its most likely me. What would you do? I DO have my emails still, do you think its worth fighting it out with paypal?

I would file a complaint with paypal. It is worth a shot. The worst they can say is no we can't send you back your money.

You could try to file a complaint with paypal, honestly, it probably won't do much, if in fact the seller intends to keep the money, its his word over yours KWIM..... I'd keep bugging, if yo uhave to leave negative feedback do so, maybe they're just not around their computer, I dunno, hard to say.

If I was the seller, I'd send your aunt's money order back since the ebay auction was won by you and not her. Your aunt should cancel the money order so it can't be cashed. Since you have the item, you're not really out of the $13...That's not taking into consideration that you don't really want the item. KWIM? Your aunt should give you the $13 if she wants the item. If you file for refund (or item not received) with Paypal, there's a great possibility that you'll get rejected especially if the seller can prove the item was sen and received.

I finnally got this resolved. I had to email the seller 3 times!!! After the 3rd email, I called him a THIEF, and of course that got his attention. LOL His excuse was, he just doesn't get to the computer enough, no time, hasn't had time to cash the MO, blah blah blah. Well thats all well and good, but don't leave me hanging! I totally understood it was MY mistake, and was trying to be aplogetic and accomodating, but then he ignores me for 2 week. Uh whatever! Sorry that doesn't sit well!

So anyway, I finnally got a refund this weekend. I emailed him one last time, sweet as sugar, apologizing once again, and thanking him for my money. But thinking to myself, FEEDBACK, NOT so good! How can you sell on ebay and NOT be at your computer at least once a day, or several times a week??
