I rarely go to ebay anymore...costs too much and I just don't like it as much. Well, mynephew is turning 13, and I needed a gift. He wanted this book, so I went in and bid on one. I had looked at a ton by the time I actually bid, so I didn't read it thoroughly. It turned out to be one of those e-books another thread is talking about! I realized it when she told me the shipping was zero!! Well, my mistake, so I went ahead and paid through paypal and just sent her a note with it saying not to worry about sending it..It was my own fault so I had paid, but I didn't need this afterall. Most people would have taken the money and run. Well, bless her heart, she sent me a note saying she couldn't see doing that to me..and refunded me the money I had paid!! Wow. Isn't it nice to find this sort of person out in the world? I sent her a note back telling her I was just so touched by her simple compassion and understanding. It was only $5, but the amount of money isn't the point...how she handled it is.

I love hearing great ebayer stories. Its SO nice to know greedy people aren't the only ones there.

Recently, I gave a small refund to someone because she purchased NWT tights from me. But when she opened them, she found a small snag. Even though it wasn't my fault, I still have her back some of her money. I can't see her paying $12 on tights she won't be able to use now.
