problem with a purchase from ebay. - Page 2

First of all, it sounds like a foreigner, so all may not be as represented. (And thus no local pickup.) Second, is this a way of getting out of ebay/PayPal fees? Third, I'd never buy something if they never respond to my pre-sale questions. I agree w/the others and not close on the deal.

She is confusing me! first she did not allow me to pick it up and now she wants me to pay thru money order. Why is it her choice? and isn't she suppose to wait till I pay her first before she ships the product to me?
I feel safer paying thru paypal but I guess she does not want me too.
I did not pay yet. I am afraid that she ships it before I pay her. Should I go head and pay thru paypal or what?

That's the email that she sent me today and I will include the one that i sent her yesterday :

Her email today

"Hi,
I do not work with PayPal because recently my PayPal account and the credit card secured with it were stolen. I’m sorry but I cannot trust this system any more. I accept Money Order!!! You pay me after received item!!! You vacuum on the way!"

THis is my email that I sent her yesterday:

" Hi, do not ship the item before I pay you. That's
the way ebay works. I want to pay thru pay pal since
it is the safest way to pay. So, send me an
invoice thru ebay and I will pay you thru pay pal. I
will resend you this same email thru ebay just in
case.
I want to make sure that we do this right, if you have
a problem with it , let me know and we can cancel the
whole transaction. Thanks "

I ALREADY CONTACTED EBAY AND I AM WAITING FOR THEIR REPLY, THANKS

please keep us posted on what happens. We are all here to help you deal with her and ebay. Have you sent the money? I wouldn't..

I received email today from paypal, they want me to call them but I haven't had a chance yet. I did not pay her yet since she does not want me to pay her thru paypal. I don't feel safe by sending her money order. How about if something goes wrong and she can claim that she never received the money. I never been thru a transaction like this before with someone that send you the item before paying them. She emailed me today telling me that she shipped the vacuum and gave me the tracking #, how strange! even though I told her yesterday not to ship it before fixing the problem.

UPDATE: this turned out to be a scam. She is using probably a stolen credit card and I after i won the auction , she went on sears.com purchased the vacuum and have it shipped to me. I called the lost prevention office at sears and i reported her to ebay. I am still waiting for both to reply. Now, I have to vacuum, i did not pay for yet. Let's see what happens next.

No, she paid for it thru a stolen credit card and she bought it for $349.99 . When I had bid on it , I got for $225. I am waiting for lost and prevention at sears to call me back today or tomorrow to let me know about the next step. They probably will send me a shipping label to send it back to them. as far as ebay, they canceled her account and removed all her listings. The only part that worries me is that she knows that I did this to her , but i had to report her since she is using illegal ways to buy stuff and resell them and get the cash for it. She already sold 2 dyson vacuum on Ebay and got paid for them from other Ebayers. THis person lives locally and she has my address. Should I be worried?

I can't stop thinking about this problem especially that she knows my name, my phone # and my address. She lives about 7 miles away from me. Should i email her and let her know that I shipped the vacuum back to Sears or wait till they call me back. I am just super worried.

Wow super slueth! How did you find out she was purchasing with a stolen cc?? I knew it sounded fishy, there was something funny about her NOT wanting to get paid INSTANTLY with paypal.
