when I called sears , they told me that she paid the regular price for the vacuum which is $349.99 and I posted the problem under the discussion form on Ebay and everyone who read the story replied that it is a scam. Also, when she gave me her address to send her the money order , it was a different name and address than the one on Ebay. What a problem! You think that people who sell on Ebay are honest and they will never do like this because they can get caught. I am not sure what I am suppose to do next. Like I said before, i am worried because this person lives very close to where I live and she has my address, name and phone #. I already got a missed called with a blocked phone # today! could that be her??I am very worried.

Are you sure the address she gave you is indeed 7 miles away? Perhaps what is 7 miles away is a Mailboxes and more or a post office, so she's having things sent there.

As for your safety, I'd contact your local police with what you have and know and get their advice. That way, it'll be documented, too.

My feeling is it's probably a P.O. box (at Mailboxes and more, places like that, you don't use "P.O. Box #", just an address. Take a drive by it and see.

I also think you should report her to the police as well. They can use the addresses you provide to track her down. Using a stolen cc is a felony if I'm not mistaken. Isn't that identity theft??

The problem is that I haven't heard from the lost and prevention from sears yet, so I have no proof that it is a stolen credit card. I am not sure if I can go anyfurther without having proof.
