I bid on an auction for a vaccum on ebay that was close to where I live (within 10-15) miles. I emailed the seller 2 times before I bid on if I can do a local pick up and she never replied. Shipping was $30 for it. The same day, I emailed her also and she did not respond. so, I ended up bidding on since the price was reasonable. After I won the auction , i emailed her AGAIN that i would like to do a pick up if possible and she never responded either. She had paypal, personal check and money order as her accepted method of payment.
She emailed me back after the auction ended thru her email address and not thru ebay stating that she needs my shipping address and she wants me to wait till I receive the item before I send her the payment and she wants me to pay her thru money order . She also said that she works for an online company and she wants to ship the item.
I emailed her back and told her that since she listed paypal as one of her method of payment that I want to pay thru pay pal since it is the safest and I told her that I will send the payment thru pay pal later on the same day
(she did not allow local pick up and she never responded to my request anyways) . so, she responded and told me to cancel my paypal payment (I did not pay yet) and she has the item ready to ship tomorrow. I replied again and told her that since she listed paypal in her listing , she has to accept it.
She is confusing me! first she did not allow me to pick it up and now she wants me to pay thru money order. Why is it her choice? and isn't she suppose to wait till I pay her first before she ships the product to me?
I feel safer paying thru paypal but I guess she does not want me too.
I did not pay yet. I am afraid that she ships it before I pay her. Should I go head and pay thru paypal or what?
