I just discovered EBAY..Sure I've heard of it, but I've never used it until recently!!
I have been outbid twice..I don't have any knowhow!
I found a little tykes car that would have been prefect for my dd and thought I may be the winner..It's $50 plus in stores, but this one was used and I bid $5.50..The winner got it for $6.00 argh...
Does anyone have any tips? I have no idea what I am doing lol!

I got my Little Tyke car at a yard sale for $4.00!

Ebay you just have to check in before the bidding ends if you really want something. My opinion is, if I forgot it and I was outbidded at the last minute, which happens all the time, than it just wasn't meant to be. I have heard there is software but never looked into it.

Don't bid on anything until the very last SECOND!! That's how you get outbid! AND That's how you get things CHEAP!

ITA - put items in your 'watch list', so you can keep an eye on them but don't bid until the last minute of the auction.

I think the key is - you need to figure out what something is worth to you and stop bidding when you reach that number. There will always be another auction for what you want. Don't get caught up in a bidding war, where you're liable to spend more than you want...kwim?
