I too, ordered in September. Closer to Christmas I got an e-mail from Amazon that said they couldn't ship this in time for Christmas, and I would have to respond to their e-mail if I wanted to keep my order, otherwise they would cancel it.

I just found the following comment from another shopper on Amazon regarding this item.....



"get with amazon in a email about all the delays., Amazon emailed me back. they had me cancel and reorder, said they would honor the original 3.99 price. Make sure you do not do this untill they get back with you and say they will honor the old price.
I had to call them and they finaly credited me the difference the same day i canceled and re ordered. Keep a copy of your old order before you cancel and a copy of thier email saying they will honor the old price, after you reorder call and make them adjust the price if they offer the same thing to you as they did to me. "
