I don't have a dog but I saw on their website a cute little house for a smaller dog or cat. If you search for Dog Bed it will pull it up. It doesn't come with the pillow but I bet a person could buy one for it. It probably could be repainted if the colors didn't match one's decor.

I could use that for magazines, table stand, coloring books, throw blankets, shoes in our mudroom, sport stuff (knee pads, mittens, etc.) whatever.... at that price!!

Good points on other possible uses! I was ready to go back and get it for myself but noticed one downside - it says 'stated shipping charge of $24'. Ouch. Still good savings but I thought I better give a heads up about that side of it.

I hadn't checked out the shipping charge. That is outrageous since it isn't assembled or anything! I checked google and can't find any free shipping codes either. Bummer.
