For those of you who live in states with Back to School, Tax Free Shipping, don't forget about online purchases.

I just saved on 2 orders from Lands End & Kohls - both TAX FREE this weekend. I overbought but returns can be made easily to local Sears & Kohls brick & mortor stores w/o the hassle of other shoppers.

Don't forget to logon to your online stores via Upromise to help add funds to your kids accounts.....Happy Shopping!

No problem, glad to share.

From Kohls, I had a rush ordering about 6 pairs of shoes for DS to come and try on - didn't have to take him to the store. Also had deals on undies & socks for DH & DS.

Kohl's is shipping free, no tax, had a 15% coupon - MVPSAVE (if it works for you & you are a cardholder), Upromise 2% contribution, AND NO LINES!

I know I overbought at Lands End - but appreciate I can make a return to Sears. Both Kohls & Sears are just minutes from my office, so that is no big deal. The real upside is I didn't have to take the family out in the hectic rat race at the stores. We now have the weekend free to shop local at our variety store. DH is there now to take our DS to pick up some school logoed items - Tax Free of course!

THANK YOU legislators! This is a GREAT program! If you don't have this program, write a letter to your statehouse, feel free to reference IA's program - http://www.state.ia.us/tax/educate/holiday1.html
