here's some reviews i found for it. I'm probably going to get this, especially since with the $10 new checkout discount, it'll only be $3. every ear infection DS had landed him in the hospital b'c he isn't one to whine or get a fever until it goes full blown. this would ahve been so helpful! oh, and on that drug store site, it retails for $50!

My mother in law also talked me into seeing a massage therapist for the ears, and between the two she has been free from ear infections that came every time she got a cold!! Now she gets the cold without the ear infection!! I must say it is a lot easier with my 3 year old rather than my 15 month old, but with the daily massaging that takes 2 minutes tops, they are both ear infection free! I highly recommend this product. P.S. It is great to use on yourself as well.

You do have to have the child still for a few seconds to get a good reading, but my girls love the sound it makes, so they sit real still for the 5 seconds that it takes. We have always gotten an accurate reading and our doctor thinks its awesome!

For those that have commented that it does not give the correct reading, they probably are not pressing and holding the scan button for 5 seconds and then releasing it before you remove it from the child's ear. That is all it takes. I highly recommend EarCheck. Just follow the easy step-by-step directions and you too will see how easy it is.
