I have been wanting to get one of these for ds, but they are kind of expensive. Well right now the outside ones are on clerance, I don't like the outside patterns, so here is what I did bought the outside inserts for $30 apiece versus the $70 for the indoor insert. They are exactly the same. Then I went on ebay and bought the covers. I think I am going to take the covers to the embrodery place by us and get there names put on. I also bouht one for my nephew for christmas, but I am still watching ebay fro a cover for his. They ended up being about $50 which is half of the regular price.

Good thinking!!! That is still more than I want to spend on a beanbag, but I think that you did a great job getting what you want for 1/2 the price.

More than I wanted to spend on a beanbag too, but two christmas's ago ds got one from target from my sister that was around 17 dollars and he used it all the time and it ripped after a little over a year, so I started looking at the pottery barn one and it is so much nicer, so I figure if it lasts for a long time it is worth it, especially since he used his other one so much and I am hoping dd will use hers as much too when she is old enough

That's true. When it is something that you know will get tons of use, it is worth buying it only once and paying a little more, than paying less and replacing it repeatedly. I love them, but I have no idea how much my children would use them.

There is also a company that sells the anywhere chair inserts on ebay and I bought two for around $20 each instead of $70 as well. plus another seller had a hot pink cover monogramed Julia so Julia got that for her bday last year I spent around $35 normally over $100!! Woo hoo, love Pottery Barn, Love Ebay!

What seller did you use on Ebay for your inserts.....I find them for $26, but s/h is still $23.42....So maybe I should go with the PB one?

I JUST (today) bought two NWT anywhere CHAIR inserts from the same buyer for $30 ea off of Ebay. I saved a ton on those. I am so excited about them

I am now looking for covers.

I am threadjacking! Sorry. I just saw your topic heading and thought it was very coincidental that just today I bought these two inserts!!!

I'm sorry that was a long time ago, I'll have to look up the seller. ok looked it up, it was weststarimperial seller id. They have tons every week. The shipping was $18. and the auction was for $26, so that is total $44 versus the $70 plus shipping from PBK.
