Consumer Reports magazine is Wholesale Subscription's deal of the day today. It is only $11.50 (which is the best price I've ever found for it) for 12 issues + the buying guide, and the price is good for new or renewals for up to 3 years.
Too bad for me: I missed this one. Today's price is over $14 a year (still not too bad though) This company has been around for years and is well-known for In its product evaluations for consumers looking to purchase a vast array of products from automobiles to microwave ovens, from frozen dinners to insurance policies. Thousands of folks use them to educate themselves before they buy. Of course, the Internet no doubt has had an impact on their subscriptions since folks can surf the Web to garner consumer info. However, I think that the magazine still offers comprehensive consumer info and one needn't search all over the Internet to find fair and detailed reports.
Another site that I regularly visit offers a two-year discount subscription to this magazine. I haven't taken advantage of it yet (I was a regular subscriber a few years ago) but it is the second best "deal" I have seen for this magazine.
