I just got this e-mail:

Three years of TiVo service with any new DVR box is available for just $299—or just $8.31/month.
We’ve added a text link to reflect this new price point:
Shop TiVo.com and get service for as little as $8.31/month!
http://www.mommysavers.com/deals/tivo.htm

We have TiVo and it's the best $8.31/month we spend!! We save so much time by not channel surfing anymore and skipping over commercials. I LOVE TiVo!

I know I sound like a crazy used car salesman, but I love my TiVo and think it's worth EVERY penny. We did the $299 for three years, which sounds like a lot of money, but it really is only $8.31/month (much easier to think of it that way). At first I watched more TV, but now that the novelty has worn off we're all watching much less, and the quality of what we're all watching has improved.

I'm one of those lucky ones who got a lifetime Tivo service for $279!!

The only downside is they say they won't let you transfer it to a new box. I'd love to upgrade! My brother (the king of all things television related) said Tivo sometimes has special promotions where they will allow you to upgrade - I'll have to keep checking.

I love my Tivo!
