I just found out about a website that lists the websites you can go to to find your favorite magazine. I clicked on the under 5 dollar catagory and found out Parents magazine was on sale somewhere for less than dollars for a years subscription! I already have one now, but if I was coming up for renewal I would get it. I will use this site when I want to start getting Family Circle again. I would even use it for gift subscriptions.
MagazinePriceSearch.com tracks the lowest prices on 2548 magazine subscriptions! We find the best prices on magazines!

There are some great prices. I wonder if there are any hidden fees. I might look a little deeper and let yall know. Pricing that caught my attention: mustang 5.0 $4.97
family fun $2.98
mens fitness $3.59
Those would be great if that is the full price!

Oh yeah, I use that site all the time! Some places, I've had problems with though, and a lot of times, those clearinghouses do not have very good customer service...you get what you pay for I guess! LOL!

I've been buying a lot of my subscriptions on ebay, with great luck...so far so good. But again, it's a risk.

You will have to let us know which places to avoid. I never heard of getting subscriptions on ebay. How does that work?

I don't like "MagazineDealsNow". I had a LOT of trouble with them and it took months and months to try to get my money back and then they wouldn't refund me, I had to take "store credit", so I used it for another order and did eventually get the magazines but I'll never use them again. Their customer service was terrible. I have ordered from "NetMagazines" and "BestDealMagazines" and haven't had a problem but my sister ordered from NetMagazines and never got her magazine and they don't respond to her emails. Another site I sometimes use is "DiscountMagazines.com"...they don't come up on the Magazine Price Search, but they've been good in the past. I just check all my usual sites, as well as ebay when I want to renew or get a new subscription. I also check the magazine website, because sometimes they have good deals going on.

On ebay, just search for your magazine and most of the time, there are tons of sellers. I try to pick sellers that have a lot of feedback and it has to be 99%. I find that I usually have to type it in a specific way into the search field. If I was looking for Lucky Magazine I would type in "Lucky Magazine Subscription" (no quotation marks).

You always take a risk though using ebay, you just have to have that mindset going in. You are past the date when you can contest thru PayPal or Ebay if you run into a problem with your subscription showing up due to the sometimes long wait for magazines to start or renew. I've had pretty good luck though.

One person just disappeared off ebay, I never got my magazine and knew something was going on when I noticed he was getting tons of negative responses. I've probably renewed or ordered new magazines for myself and family...maybe 12 times now. I only had that one time that it didn't show and couldn't get my money back. I did renew one magazine and it didn't get renewed and I emailed the person about it, they had submitted it incorrectly to the publisher so not only did they refund my money but they gave me two years instead of one as an apology.

So far, I've had good luck with Bestdealmagazines.com, and if you use the Mommysavers link, you save 15%.
