I make around 10 purchases from Amazon monthly. So this price match always works in me favor. Each month I go through each purchase to see if the price has decreased if it has I submit a simple request and the difference is placed back on my credit card with 72 hours. Another heads up for any true Amazon fans, I would really recommend subscribing to Amazon Prime it is a little pricey however it has saved me a ton of money in the long run. This is how it works you pay $79 a year for membership and you are entitled to free 2 day shipping on all of your Amazon orders, so birthdays, Christmas or any other purchases I just click on an item and the person receives it in 2 days. It has saved me well over $300 in shipping cost this year ( Hey I'm a shopaholic!!!) Something to consisder!

Thanks. I need to try to call Amazon instead of emailing. I am not sure if the item was sold by Amazon.com or not, the item isn't available right now to find out. Isn't the only way to get the free shipping from Amazon is if it isn't actually sold by Amazon and not one of their merchants? I only purchase items from Amazon when I get the free shipping. I had ordered the XPV 2.0 Shadow Hawk Blue/Grey 49 MHz for $24.99 and the price dropped to $17.50. This same one is available in Red right now for $17.50 and it is sold by Amazon.com.

Do these refunds and web pages that alert you when a price has dropped only apply to amazon.com, or can you use it with anything you purchase? Like if i walk in target and make a purchse, can i use these tools provided to get a refund if price drops??

I bought an item and I didn't pay shipping b/c I got amazon's super saver shipping when you spend over $25 on qualified items. Now I find the item is $5 less but it doesn't say you can get free shipping, it looks like its being sold by target on here. Does this count? It's the exact same item for $5 less.

No. It has to be sold by Amazon, not one of the other retailers on their site.
