out of the 2 toys r us I went to, they had plenty on the shelf. These are suppose to be a black friday item for $15.00. The only bad thing, it's really hard to find the cartridges for these. Not that you really need them because the kids have fun without it, but I just thought for a change of pace. The ones I seen in the store did have a Spongebob cartridge with it, so that was good.

We got my almost 5 year old one for her 4th bday. She loves it. There was an older version taht was just black and white but the new ones, like Julie shows in the photo is in color.

I just ordered a new cartridge off eBay for ours - keep in mind that if you look on ebay for cartridges, some are just Black and White. For example, there is a princess game and its apparently just B&W. A reliable seller would mention this in the description.

I have never seen games in the store - just online. I am guessing this was not a big seller at the regular price but its a great little game and the batteries last FOREVER!

I think they'll make a great gift for my bitty chick and for my husband's grandaughter. Can't hardly beat getting an almost hundred dollar item for 20!

For 20.00 you just cant beat it.. My 2 children wanted the vpocket, but after looking everywhere I just cant find them for less than 60.00. I liked the concept that they could use there v cartridges from there vsmile on these.. I just cant spend the 120.00 for 2 of them.. Especially if I can get 2 hand held pixters for 40.00..

I have read all the reviews on the pixter and there are some negatives like with any electronics.. I am really glad to hear from the moms on this site, that they love this, and havent had any problems.. yippee

Makes me think that the newer ones are better.. I have also gone on the fisher price site, and they do have games, for this, also kb toys did.. Gonna have to order a couple.. It seems like the good thing is that there are plenty of activities to do without anything extra...

Have decided to order them.. ALso love the fact that so many of the on line toy stores now accept paypal.. As a ebay seller it helps..

I called my "local" TRU to see if they had any of these, and they told me that they have not carried these in over a year and a half... So i called the one close to my work, and they said they had about 20 of them, but I was the 3rd person to call asking about them... They do not come with the Spongebob software, but still is a cool gift anyways!!!!

ok, could this thing "hold me over" till i can score a leapster at a garage sale or somewhere?

Can you order these online or are they an in store purchase only? I don't see where I can add them to my cart. Am I going blind?
