One thing that we have given the parents that has been a huge hit is a panini sandwich grill. It is one of those things you really wouldn't buy for yourself but it makes a plain old sandwich so delish. I am normally not an advocate of kitchen appliances that only do one thing, but we use ours several times a week and there are so many good combinations you can make. You can use a big hunk of french bread or a roll or plain bread and put anything in it. Both of our parents love theirs too. I was looking at them on Amazon today (considering getting one for my grandmother) and the Cuisinart one is marked down to under $50 which is a great price. They actually have several for under $50. Just thought I would throw it out there in case some of you are stumped with your parents.

Just received the Snapfish photo book we did for my husband's folks. Great quality and got it for under $30 shipped even after adding several extra pages. A note on the minibooks--when your order arrives check to make sure all photos are there! I ordered 9 minibooks and 3 of them were missing the last 2 pages! Guess I'll find out shortly if their customer service department is any good!
