My brother and SIL bought us a gift certificate to amazon.com. I have only ever shopped there once before and luckily got the very thing I needed. Right now I don't think we need anything, and was wondering if Amazon.com is really all its hyped up to be. Do they really offer GREAT deals or just great deals comparative to other online stores? Just curious!
If you check it often I think you can find some great deals with super saving shipping (free) today I received the collector edition of Lincoln Logs for 24.99 normaly $80.00 and it really is a very nice set that I got for a steal. Lincoln Logs are never cheap!
I did more shopping there last Christmas then this year but there are deals like anywhere else to be had!!!!!!!
I love Amazon. You have to know your prices though. I got some great deals in the past few weeks. I bought the Bratz mansion for $29.99 and it sells for $75 on up at Target, Walmart, etc. I also got the Dora Vtech that plugs into the TV for $13 and saw it at Target for $35. I got 7lb of moon sand for $7.99 which sells for at least $30 and the sand castle thing to go with it for $5.99 which was $20 at Target. Great deals and all for much much cheaper with FREE shipping and handling. You can't beat it. Also, if the prices drop within 30 days of your purchase all you have to do is call them and Amazon will credit your accoutnt.

I think I bought the same Lincoln Logs as you from Target on Black Friday...they were $19 I think! I will have to double check my receipt!
With our kitchen remodel coming up, I think I may use some of this towards some accessories. I guess I just need to keep checking in for the FREE shipping events! Thanks ladies!

I bought quite a few things. I agree you just need to check the price versus other places to know if you're getting a good deal. They usually have really good prices on books, CDs, DVDs, etc. I got my dh the 8 DVD set of Band of Brothers they had on special one day. I paid $26 and it sells for $50-$70 normally!!!
We missed that band of brothers set, it sold out(great set though)! And I could be wrong but I didn't think it as the same lincoln log set as target.
I got my brother some cologne for $22 that normally sells for $37 . I had more money to get him something else and he really thought I splurged. Really Amazon just saved me some money.
I would just keep checking this site for great deals or Amazon if you know what you are looking for.
