I ordered a dress (1st time buyer) for dd two weeks ago off the gymboree website because I got a coupon off this site for 20% off. Before the order arrived, the dress went on sale even more. I asked about getting a refund for the difference and someone on this site told me to call customer service and they would refund me the difference. So I did. I was told that since I used a coupon, that I didn't "qualify" for a price refund....WHAT?????????? The dress was on sale for $25.00. With the coupon code I only paid $20. It is on sale now for $15. I didn't understand what the lady at customer service was trying to tell me in that I didn't qualify. Why not??? The dress is still cheaper now than when I bought it. What does that matter??? Does anyone have a clue about this????

They have wierd rules. I would return it and rebuy it.

I agree - I would buy new at cheaper price - look on the boards to see if you can find yet another coupon - then return the "expensive" one! :-) good luck. i've had similar problems with other online purchases but when i've threatened to do that (buy again cheaper and return) they've given me the price difference refund!

Do you not have a gymbo within driving distance? I don't think you have to pay return shipping.

the closest gymboree is in the dallas/ft worth area which is 2 1/2 hours one way. i looked on their website & they no longer have the size of the dress i need. i will try tomorrow calling them one more time to see if they will give me the difference. thanks for your help.
