Does anyone know a cheap place to buy children's books?

Do you mean online or in a store? Right now at Dollar General, certain children's books with a pink sticker on them are 50%off. Hope this helps.

Call your local library and see if it has a yearly book sale. When I first had kids, I got a ton of books really cheaply by shopping these sales.

Also, kids' consignment stores, like Once Upon a Child. I can usually find some books for .50 or $1.00 each.

I buy all my books new off of amazon.com, they are the normally the cheapest plus they have a 4 for 3 promotion on books under $10.
Used I buy them at our library book sales, homeschool curriculum sales and yard sales.

Oh I've also won huge lots of books off of ebay for cheap, but you have to watch shipping and factor that into your bids.

If you have books to get rid of and would like new-used ones, sometimes used book stores give you credit for books you bring in so you can spend those credits on new books. Otherwise there is always the option of online book swapping sites like PaperBackSwap : Your source for swapping books online! i have used that site alot in the past and saved lots of money.
