But watch out- if you read the reviews, one reviewer notes that the book that comes with the doll is a minibook and has only the first three chapters of the regular-sized version... not sure that would be so great, only getting part of the story.

The reviewers also stated that the dolls are not as detailed as their larger counterparts but that they still have the AG quality. The book thing wasn't an issue for my b/c I got the dolls for younger girls, under 5. We already have all the books so this mini book is just for dd to play read to her doll.

I received mine today. I must say I bought it so fast I didn't realize how little the book was, however, the box it comes in is PERFECT for a stocking stuffer. I was going to give it to my dd for her bday but I'm keeping it for her stocking now. Yes these are the small/short dolls of course no where near as nice as the full size $100 ones, but for $11 I'm happy! The quality is nice also, much better than a barbie type doll and it fits well in my dd's doll house. All in all, I say a nice quality mini doll, better than barbie anyday!
