Not sure if anyone's children read Junie B. Jones books but I found many of them (including one about to release) for under $4 a piece! at Amazon.com. Also, free shipping for orders $25 or more.

The list price of the paperbacks are $3.99, so the Amazon price isn't really discounted. Occasionally I'll see them at Target for $2.50 apiece. If you're interested in getting several of them and don't mind gently used, search for them in lots on eBay. You can get some great deals there!

My kids love Junie B. Jones. I have been getting boxed sets of 4 (paperback) from the scholastic flyers they send home. I can't remember exactly what I paid last time, but I think it was around $5.

My son's teacher got him hooked on this series; she reads it to the class. Not quite the little role model, is she? She makes my son laugh. I, too, buy them thru Scholastic.

My son like these books too. My son who is 7 has been checking them out on library day at school.

You're probably talking about the hardcover books. The paperbacks run $3.99. Now if you found the hardcovers on Amazon for less than $4, that WOULD be a deal! Maybe I just mis-understood.

well, I realize the benefit for the school when buying them thru scholastic, but I buy mine at Goodwill for $0.99 or at garage sales for less.

I don't usualy buy the hardcover unless it's a series I think are worth it. now I would buy them in hardcover for less than $4.

You can get them at Target on 75% clearance for $0.88 per. Selected titles are clearanced out about every 4-5 months.

Our library has a small bookstore that sells donated items and I can pick-up very gently used Junie B. books ( and many others!) for .25 - .50. Talk about a bargain! Also, I almost never turn down a scholastic flyer from school--there is at least one book a month that is .95 and there is never a shipping charge. Love it! Love it!
